New Release: Upgraded Wallet Pro Built From Your Feedback

Here's something we don't say enough: the Wallet Pro you know and love exists because of feedback. Real feedback, from real people who bought the wallet, used it every day, and told us what worked and what didn't.

So when it came time to make it even better, we didn't start from a blank page. We started by reading everything you'd already told us.

A few things kept coming up.

  • You wanted the flap to close and stay closed, no popping open when it’s full.
  • You wanted it slimmer when it’s closed.
  • And you wanted somewhere to put a folded twenty without needing a separate clip.

So that's what we built. The result is the new Wallet Pro, and it's the best version of our bestselling wallet yet.

What’s new with the Ekster Wallet Pro?

1. A closure that actually closes. The flap now snaps shut with a metal button instead of just tension. It stays closed in your pocket, your bag, on the bar counter, wherever life takes it.

2. Slimmer than before. We shaved down the closed profile without losing any of the card capacity. Same wallet, less bulk. The snap button keeps it even slimmer when closed.

3. Room for cash, finally. There's a new pocket between the flap and the cardholder that runs the full width of the wallet. Fold a bill, slide it in, done. No more separate cash clip needed, which is why we retired that wallet add-on for this version. (It still works with the Ekster Wallet!)

4. A wallet you can actually find. The Wallet Pro now works with our new dual-network Tracker Card, which pairs with Apple Find My or Google Find Hub, whichever phone you've got. Drop it in a card slot, and your wallet shows up right next to your other tracked devices.

5. A new core color. Volt joins the lineup, a poppy green that's a little louder than our usual palette. It's alongside the six colors you already know: Black, Brown, Tan, Navy, Flare Red, and AppleSkin.

Everything you already liked stuck around too: the push-button card ejector, built-in RFID protection, premium Vachetta leather and 100% recycled aluminum design, and the lifetime warranty.

Why this matters more than a wallet spec sheet

Wallets are one of those things you use fifty times a day without thinking about.

You don't notice a good one. You notice a bad one, every time the flap won't stay shut or a card gets stuck.

Small annoyances add up fast when something's in your hand that often. So when we say this update was built from feedback, we mean the boring, specific, unglamorous kind, the stuff that actually makes a wallet better to live with, not just better to look at.

If you've been holding onto your old Wallet Pro because it mostly works, this is your excuse to upgrade.

FAQs

What makes a wallet a "smart wallet"?
A smart wallet is a wallet built with card protection and quick-access features that a normal wallet doesn't have, usually a card ejector mechanism, RFID-blocking material, and increasingly, a built-in or add-on tracker so you can find it if it's lost. The Wallet Pro checks all three boxes.

Do I actually need an RFID-blocking wallet?
It depends on what you carry. Contactless credit cards, some passports, and building access cards use RFID or NFC chips that can, in theory, be skimmed by a nearby reader. In practice, wireless card theft is rare, but RFID-blocking material costs nothing in convenience, so most people treat it as cheap insurance rather than a must-have. The Wallet Pro has it built into the card slots either way.

How many cards should I carry in my wallet?
Most people carry between 4 and 8 cards day to day, a couple of payment cards, an ID, maybe a loyalty or transit card. The Wallet Pro holds up to 14, so there's room to grow, but it's designed to feel slim even with a realistic 9-card load.

Bifold or card holder, which is better for men?
It comes down to how much you carry. A traditional bifold fits more but sits thicker in a pocket. A slim cardholder-style wallet like the Wallet Pro gives you most of that capacity, cash included now, without the extra bulk of a folded leather bifold.

How do I break in a new leather wallet?
Vachetta leather, the kind used in the Wallet Pro, starts a little firm and softens with handling. Carry it normally for a week or two and it'll relax into shape on its own. Avoid soaking it or forcing it to speed things up, that just damages the leather instead of breaking it in.

Can I track my wallet if I lose it?
Yes, with the Wallet Pro's compatible Tracker Card. It pairs with Apple Find My on iPhone or Google Find Hub on Android, so your wallet shows up in the same app you already use to find your phone or your keys. No extra app, no subscription.
