I thought getting a matching key case would be, "cool", but have been questioning its purpose and price. I have several keys, not at a janitorial level, but a wtf is this for or from. I followed directions and suggested capacity for keys that would fit in the case and no matter how I organized and tightened this case seems questionable at best when it comes to practicality. I have a hard time getting the key to swivel out and find that all of them must come out at once.
I like a built quality and a usage. It’s a bit too complex to separate a key out a case if you need. And the little parts easy can get lost if you drop them. If there would be some kind of quick release mechanism to remove or add keys I would buy them even more.
The one recommendation that I would recommend is to include some extra rubber D-Rings, in addition to the ones expected to be immediatelly used as they will wear out and when they do there is no option to acquire replacements.
I kept this key case in my cart for over two weeks before deciding to buy it. It turned out to be a great purchase. The quality is excellent, it keeps my keys organized, and I no longer have to worry about loose keys in my pocket. Very practical and well worth the money.
This thing allowed me to fit my keys in my pockets and tiny hip pack by essentially forcing them into a nice, slim, organised footprint. With that in mind, it does exactly what I need it to, but it’s not very spacious. If I include an Ekster Key Tag, I can, at the most, fit four keys *without* using the rubber spacers. I good way to solve this would be to create a premium version that has key tag functionality built into its metal frame. This could be accomplished by thickening said frame and elongating the retention screw slightly. With no more need for a separate key tag, it could hold 8 keys as advertised.
Such a convenient thing to have. No more scrambling in pockets and jingling as you walk. I just reach in pull my keys out, find the right key easily, and done. Saves a lot of space too. Also made me realize how much unnecessary things I had attached to my keychain.

BIG issue, no d-ring for FOB?
The plastic clip for other keys is useless and fell off the first day I used it. Doesn’t hold very many keys. Not sure if I’d buy another and have considered returning.
First of all I really like carbon fiber so that's the case I chose. I have had other cases but I like this because it keeps my keys much tighter and they do not flop around when I take it out of my pocket. So many cases when you take it out of your pocket the keys all flopped out in a group. With this one I can select the key by just pushing on it and the rest stay were they should.
I used to have an Orbit Key Chain.

And no keys scratching your laptop when it’s in your bag. Or excessive wear on your trouser pocket—eventually leading to holes.
The Ekster does the same… but with a slightly better attachment mechanism, dividers between the keys… and the option to add a tracker. In the same form factor as the holder itself—so not a (relatively) thick, bulky Apple AirTag hanging off your keychain.
So when I lost my keys, the choice was made quickly. And I haven’t regretted it for a second.
But: the tracker’s beep is very subtle. So the next time I lose my keys (outdoors), I really hope I can hear it… especially on a busy street or anywhere with lots of background noise. Because the tracker can pinpoint the location to within a meter, sure—but if it’s lying in tall grass… I’m not so sure.
Luckily, so far, my keys are still in my pocket…
The craftsmanship is high quality. The functionality could use some improvement. The keys fit well yhoguh of my keys only 3 could be held by the case; the other 3 are oart of the accessory attachment and that si fine. YThe issue for me is how to access the keys in the case. They do not rotate out for use easily and I had hope they would since Ekster is well designed.
Jeg kjøpte ny lommebok/kortholder. Slo derfor til på å få med key case i samme farge. Den nye har metal på sidene og lær i «bunnen», min gamle var bare lær. Tok litt tid å venne meg til at den er stiv i forhold til den gamle som bare var lær, men nå etter en tid har jeg vente meg til det. Kjekt å ha alle nøkler samlet på et sted, og det blir ikke hull i jakkelommer med denne. Godt fornøyd!
If you're used to a "bunch of keys on keyring(s)", the KeyCase does take some getting used to. I've only used it for about a week now & mostly enjoy the fact that it's a lot less "clutter" & finding a key in the dark is so much easier. I'm not an iPhone user, but would recommend adding the tag, because there is no familiar sound to hear if you drop your keys. Would be nice if there is something similar for Android phones. And as a joke, it looks like I'm picking the lock on my door when using the KeyCase; which can be a fun gimmick haha!
Using this for my home and work keys. Some competitors (who I will not name) have a few good ideas I'd like to see. Bottle opener add-one, spacer to extend the amount of keys can fit, etc. Be nice to see here as well. Over all it's pretty convenient.
Love the key case keep my keys all organized and tidy and plus side no scratches when other things in my pocket with it!! And the air tag trackers work amazing for my car keys and key case so I never lose them or need to worry where I placed them!!
I have used a wide range of key cases. I find that this very compact case is the best. It is much more elegant than the competition and holds an adequate number of keys. One feature I truly appreciate is the ring attachment that allows you to attach other items such as a car fob. You may have to see it to understand but the way it is designed, along with the case, prevents it from sliding randomly along the case--it is held at the very end. I realized the importance of this when I tried using a standard ring, which slid all over the place. The point is that this is well thought out and beautifully made.
In theory, the key case should be good, but it’s not. It’s heavy and bulky and barely holds three keys with the optional ‘Find Me’ tracker. It’s also difficult to use with one hand, as the keys are tightly wedged inside—you need your other hand to push them out. The clip at the end feels like an afterthought, since it can easily unclip itself and separate a fob. I love the wallet and the key case color match. Sorry.

Looks nice, very sturdy and was exactly what I was looking for. Plus the ability to track my keys after recently losing a different set of them is a big plus.
i really like how handy it is. Gets rid of the clutter in my pocket. My reason for the four star rating is I think the post for the keys should be longer.It would make it easier to assemble.
