New Release: Trackers That Work with Both Apple & Android

Let's get straight to the good part. The new Ekster Tracker Card is just 1.8 mm thin and it works with both Apple Find My® and Google Find Hub®.

Not "Android support coming soon." Not a separate version for iPhone and a different one for everyone else.

One card, either network, your choice.

If you've ever shopped for a wallet tracker, you know why that's a big deal. Search "airtag alternative for android" and you'll find tracker after tracker built for one phone type, then bolted onto the other as an afterthought. We built the Tracker Card so you never have to deal with that.

DISCOVER THE MOST ADVANCED TRACKER

Slimmest tracking card with Apple and Android compatibility

One tracker that works with any phone

Most wallet trackers make you pick a side before you even open the box. Buy the Apple version and it only talks to Find My. Buy an Android one and you're often stuck with a smaller network or a clunkier app.

The Tracker Card connects to Apple Find My or Google's Find Hub.

You pick one when you set it up, and after that it works just like a tracker made for that phone. Same map, same alerts, same everything.

This is handy in more situations than you'd think. Couples who use different phones. Someone gifting a tracker to a parent who has no idea what "Find My" even means. Anyone who's switched from iPhone to Android (or back) and doesn't want to throw out their tracker just because they changed phones.

One card works no matter what's in your pocket.

The thinnest tracker card you can buy

At just 1.8 mm or 0.07” thick, the Tracker Card is thinner than two credit cards stacked together. Slide it into a wallet, cardholder, or passport sleeve, and it just disappears. No bump, no bulge, no need to buy a bigger wallet to make room for it.

That thin build is also why it fits so well into the hidden slot inside Ekster wallets and cardholders. You forget it's even there, until the day you need it.

Everything the Tracker Card does

Here's the full list, not just the highlights.

Find it when it's close by. Ring the Tracker Card from your phone. The 95 dB ringer is loud enough to hear through couch cushions, bags, or a messy drawer, and you can hear it from up to 300 ft away outdoors.

Find it when it's far away. Out of range, Find My or Find Hub shows you the last spot it was seen on a map. That map runs on the same huge network of phones that already tracks AirTags and Android trackers everywhere.

Get an alert if you leave it behind. Walk off without your wallet and your phone tells you before you're too far to notice.

Share it with people you trust. Give up to 5 people access to your Tracker Card's location. Great for couples, roommates, or family members who'd otherwise call you asking which app to open.

Charge it wirelessly, up to 10 months at a time. No battery hatch, no coin battery to track down at the store. It works with any wireless charger you've already got. Charger not included.

Take it in the rain. It's IP68 rated, so it can survive 30 minutes underwater at up to 1.5 meters. Spilled drinks, rain, an accidental trip through the wash, all fine.

No subscriptions. Only pay once for the tracker itself. No app fees, no "pay more to unlock this feature" later. No additional app to download.

Backed by Apple MFi and Google certification, plus a 2 year warranty.

Track your wallet from any phone

Say hello to the Tracker Tag

Not everything you want to track fits in a wallet. That's where the Tracker Tag comes in.

It runs the same setup as the Tracker Card, connecting to Apple Find My or Google Find Hub, but it's small and built with a loop so you can attach it to almost anything.

Keys. A backpack. A bike. A suitcase. A car. A lunchbox. Whatever!

The Tracker Tag runs on a replaceable CR1625 battery that lasts up to 10 months, so when it eventually runs out, you just pop in a new battery instead of finding a charger.

It's not waterproof like the Card, so it's built more for everyday use than for anything that's going to get soaked.

Same loud ringer, same map tracking, same no subscriptions. Just a different shape for a different job.

How these item trackers stack up

The market's caught up a bit since wallet trackers first showed up. Slim, card-shaped trackers aren't rare anymore.

What's still hard to find is one tracker that works well with both Apple and Android, in a shape thin enough that you actually forget it's there.

Apple's AirTag only works with Find My. Most Android-focused trackers only work with Find Hub. The few trackers out there that do both tend to be thicker, usually over 2 mm, to fit the extra parts inside.

The Tracker Card does both, at 1.8 mm, without making you choose.

Setting it up takes seconds

Whatever phone you use, setup is very quick.

On iPhone: press the button on the tracker to wake it up, open Find My, tap the plus icon, tap "Add Item," and follow the steps to pair your Tracker Card. It'll show up in your Items tab.

On Android: wake the tracker, open Find Hub (or Google Find My Device, depending on your phone), tap to add a new device, and pair it the same way.

Either way, you'll be done before your coffee's ready.

Where to get the smartest trackers on the market

The Tracker Card is out now and fits any wallet, cardholder, or bag with a card slot.

Need something for keys, a bike, or luggage instead? The Tracker Tag has the same Apple and Android support in a smaller shape built for attaching to things.

Both come with a 2-year warranty, and neither one needs a subscription.

FAQ

Does the Tracker Card work with both Apple and Android?
Yes. It connects to either Apple Find My or Google Find Hub, and you pick which one when you set it up. It's one tracker, not two different versions.

Can I switch the Tracker Card from Apple to Android later?
Yes, but you have to disconnect it from the first network before pairing it with the second. It can't be connected to both at the same time, but you can switch whenever you want.

How thin is the Tracker Card?
1.8 mm (0.07 inches), about as thick as two credit cards stacked. It sits flat in a wallet without adding bulk.

How long does the battery last?
The Tracker Card is rechargeable and lasts up to 10 months per charge. The Tracker Tag uses a replaceable CR1625 battery that also lasts up to 10 months.

Is the Tracker Card waterproof?
Yes, it's IP68 rated, meaning it can handle 30 minutes underwater at up to 1.5 meters. The Tracker Tag isn't water-resistant, so it's better for everyday use than water exposure.

Does the Tracker Card have Precision Finding like an AirTag?
It doesn't have Apple's UWB directional arrow feature, since that tech isn't available to other brands. What it does have is a loud 95 dB ringer with a 300 ft range, so you can find it fast without needing an arrow on your screen.

Do I need a subscription to use the Tracker Card or Tracker Tag?
No. Both are a one-time purchase. No app fees, no subscriptions, ever.

What's the difference between the Tracker Card and the Tracker Tag?
The Card slides into a wallet, cardholder, or passport sleeve. The Tag attaches to anything with a loop, like keys, a bag, a bike, or a collar. Both connect to Apple Find My and Google Find Hub, and both last up to 10 months on a charge or battery.
