Question, where the clips at the top of the molle straps on the backpack has me confused 🤨. I am taking a trip next month so I am preparing my gear for a 3 month adventure, looking at how I can maximize all available space in the backpack 🎒 including the molle webbing?
I’m a repeat customer and once again I’m very impressed with their designs and quality of materials.
I work in aviation and travel extensively so this pack is a nice little piece of kit for those short or even extended trips when you need equipment/clothing but are limited on space.
I’ve had my backpack since launch and use it everyday on my commute. Minimal wear and tear on it other than the bottom pads were it rubs on my jacket while riding. No leaks while riding in the rain or issues on the highway. Having an across the chest support strap would be a nice addition.
After three years the top laptop pocket zipper failed. Support replaced the bag and I’m back to riding
Thank you very much for great service and amazing products! Backpack looks amazing and well crafted. Not a single seam or sewing misplaced. I haven’t taken the backpack for a test ride yet, but travel pack has been used couple of times and it works great.
The grid duffel bank is great. The suggestion I have is on the shoulder straps. They slid off my shoulders. If you could have a adjustable strap that could keep the shoulder straps parallel.
The practicality and functionality of the Ekster Grid Backpack are at the forefront of its design and purpose. It's minimalistic and simple in intent also. The material it is made of can be construed as durable, weather- resistant and fashionable. The only feature I'm critical of, is the placement of the luggage strap designed to slide the backpack onto the luggage handles. The strap should've been placed horizontally on the backpack, instead of vertically, so that you could position the backpack upright, and not sideways onto the carry-on luggage. Hopefully, this will be corrected on the manufacturing of future backpacks.
Can’t say enough about this backpack. Really aesthetically pleasing and great quality for traveling. Can’t wait to use it everywhere I go. I currently have the anthracite color and I love it. I have many backpacks but this one blows my cheaper backpacks out of the water.
I love this bag. My only regret is not using it more often as a backpack. This is due to me also having the Ekster backpack which is an amazing item as well. Would recommend and buy again.
Simply the best backpack ever!!!
I wanted a backpack which can be used for daily commute but also for quick weekend trips. It had to be durable enough for my laptop, but also waterproof with good space compartment.
Something I thought was simply impossible is not, and grid backpack is a clear-cut proof.
Its laptop compartment is extremely sturdy, and the rest of the bag is spacious enough that you can put a lot of items, but the hero item of grid backpack is its chain, simply the best ever.
I really like the hooks that gives you freedom to tie some extra items, and its bottle holder is deep enough.

Took first trip, easy access to laptop, great storage. Lightweight and flexible, easy to wipe. Water bottle fits fantastically.... very pleased with my purchase of the GRID Backpack by Ekster. Highly recommend!
Our family is now in Jamaica enjoying a once in a lifetime holiday. We have never had our luggage lost in transit before but were a little nervous, afraid that we would end up in Jamaica without a swimsuit or change of clothes so we bought the Ekster Grid Backpack and a TravelPack Vacuum Kit and each of us packed a swimsuit and change of clothes in the Ekster. On our flights from Western Canada we had several flight delays and sure enough when we arrived in Jamaica - No Luggage! But what we had packed held us over for a couple of days until the airline found our luggage and delivered it to us. Thank you Ekster! It is amazing how much you can pack in the backpack with the vacuum kit.
The backpack is good so far, good weight, like the RFID pocket, though the zips are a bit exposed, and it makes me uneasy about pickpockets, they could be a bit more concealed, but very good build quality and nice colour

It's a lovely bag, nicely made for sure, but thevakue proposition isn't great. At about 200 pounds it's at the top of what any reasonable person would pay for a rucksack.
Good quality, but expensive
This bag is so well designed you'll love 'moving in'. There're 2 pockets that will hold toiletries neatly and everything else one needs on a daily basis. I'm packing this and my carry on for 2 weeks in Alaska and everything fits! I'm using 3 vaccuum bags in the carry on to take 3-5 full changes of clothing. This is going to be fun!
I've had this bag for 6 months. Loved it at first, but the zipper keeps malfunctioning. It zips up, but will catch at various parts of the zipper and has opened up unexpectedly a few times. I even tried applying zipper lubricant. If it didn't have this defect, it would be a 5 star purchase.
As an occasional international DJ, this bag is a must for 7” vinyl records. Used as hand luggage on the plane you have your treasured possessions close to hand, safe and secure.
I was delighted replacing my laptop bag with this.. I had high expectations, considering the price and I’m glad they were met. The only weird thing is that it has more strap length for the right arm, almost like that strap is far longer than needed, but I’ll never need to take advantage of it, so, yeah, it’s all great

The Grid Backpack I like very much I bought vacuum bags as well. I wish in the future y’all can add wheels and a handle to pull the Grid Backpack like going through the airport making it a little easier. My opinion overall the bag is great.

You might notice that the zipper feels a bit stiff—that’s normal. Our bags are vacuum-sealed and have airtight, anti-leak zippers to keep your items secure. Apply gentle but firm pressure when unzipping. Pull the zipper ring upwards (not flat or sideways) to get a better grip and leverage. Once unsealed, the zipper will be easier to use going forward.
