Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 4.5 / 5 from 107 reviews.
The reason I bought this vacuum is to replace the last one I had which died less than 6 months after purchase 😞. But I love the product.
The TravelPack Vacuum bags are perfect for motorcycle travel. I ride a Harley with panniers and top box and previously used liner bags.
They worked okay but since moving to the vacuum bags I can now get the same amount of clothing into a pannier plus a pair of slip on trainers, spare gloves and waterproof over trousers. One vacuum bag per pannier plus extra stuff means no additional muggier strapped to the rack. The top box holds 2 vacuum bags, small camera bag, handbag and still has space for drinks.
So moving to TravelPack Vacuum bags means I no longer need the 50 litre bag that was strapped to the top box lid.
The tiny little vacuum works brilliantly and is easily stashed in the top box or pannier.
The bags themselves are really well made and very sturdy and being waterproof I don’t need to worry about electronics in the bags getting wet.
Highly recommended.
In fact I’m planning on purchasing more for travelling with the family in the car.
I ordered the Ekster TravelPack because of the great reviews I read online, and it definitely lived up to the hype. It really does compress your clothes and reduce the amount of space they take up in your luggage. The included mini vacuum is a great bonus—it removes the air from the travel packs quickly and efficiently, making packing even easier.
Another big plus is Ekster's excellent customer service. If you have a problem with one of their products, they stand behind it and work to make things right.
My only complaint is that I wish they had a U.S. phone number for customer support. Everything is handled through email, which can be less convenient if you need immediate assistance.
Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend the Ekster TravelPack to anyone looking to save space while traveling. TravelPack to anyone looking to save space while traveling.
Purchased two 11x7 packs. The zipper opening is too small, not nearly the length of the bag. To load with even slightly bulky items it’s necessary to shove not place the garment in the bag. Totally disappointing and would return except I purchased weeks ago for a pending trip and only now tested before leaving soon.
The quality of the bag seems good so far. I did a test run for an upcoming trip. The power of the little pump was impressive. It sucked out all the excess air, but didn't seem to flatten the bag all that much. Also, I was disappointed to discover that air leaked back in within a few hours, so it didn't stay fully compressed. Not sure if this will really make a difference or not after the suitcase is closed, but it will be annoying to have to suck the air out every time I open my suitcase to get it closed again. I haven't decided if I'm going to keep it yet or try another brand.
Air Pump works VERY well.
Instructions are lacking in clarity as to how charging light indicates level of charge.
EKSTER was very responsive to my questions.
I recommend this product.
I used this for the first time for winter travel, which is always harder to keep to a carry on. It does nothing for weight, in fact, it increases the weight because you can add more clothes, but it certainly did give me extra pockets of space for small items. I did as one reviewer suggested move it to the zippered side of my Away bag, to use all the space at the bottom where it is flat, not curved because of telescoping handles. An improvement over other packing bags for certain.
After numerous email exchanges regarding the air pump originally delivered with my new order, it was found to be defective and could not run. Now the replacement has arrived and has me back on track to start packing for my Ski trip. I am glad that my issue was settled. Thank you.
I purchased a double compression bag set with pump. Using this for the my first trip the air pump failed to work on my way home. Even after charging it for 12 hours. Though I was able to squeeze enough air out of bags to fit my belongings in my suitcase. That was just over this past Christmas 2025. The company responded quickly and sent me a replacement within two weeks. I am traveling again at the end of January 2026 and hope there won’t be any complications. Yet, my biggest concern is, why can’t you put some kind of light indicator to show the actual amount of battery/energy available in your air pump?

Amazing pump and travel size. Would recommend to anyone.
So far they work great. They hold the vacuum seal and the pump is small and light. Still learning how to shape the bag to get it to the size and shape I want for packing, but working well so far.
This pump is nicely compact for travel, taking up very little room. It has more suction than others I have tried in the past and works with many different brands of travel pack bags.
I have always used compression packing cubes, I am 6'5" tall so my clothes take a lot of room in luggage, and these bags make it easier to pack my clothes giving me more room
Took 2 travel Pak’s on a 5 day trip last weekend and they worked perfectly - was able to fit 5 days of clothing in my carry and was able to put shoes and other items in my bag easily. Very happy with this purchase!
It worked well to do my packing for my trip to Europe. I was travelling a lot through multiple locations and the vacuum stopped charging on my trip. It would only stay on for a couple of seconds. It became unusable. I did receive a replacement when I got home, which was very much appreciated. Not all gadgets can be perfect, hopefully this next one lasts.

What a relief - this gadget is what sold me in purchasing the travel bags. No more hoping to get housekeeping to loan us a vacuum (or need to get the request translated) and/or pounce on the vacuum bag to squeeze the air out. This handy small portable vacuum is what the travel doctor ordered. Love love love it and cant imagine ever travelling again without it. Tested it almost daily over a 24 day journey thru Portugal. A must have.
The waterproof vacuum travel bag is made for long-term reusability with anti-rip Nylon and an air-tight zipper.
It protects your clothes from accidental spills and bad odors while keeping them wrinkle-free.
Quick and easy vacuum compression
Compress 15+ items of clothing
Modular design fits in any travel bag
Portable Air Pump
The portable TravelPack™ Air Pump is rechargeable with USB-C and gives you 45 uses on a full charge. Alternatively, use a vacuum cleaner for compression.
Pack your clothes inside the TravelPack™ Vacuum Bag and zip it up. Attach the mini Air Pump to the nozzle on the bag and press the button on the Air Pump to start compressing.
The portable Air Pump is rechargeable and designed to last for many years. Recharge it with the included USB-C cable and get up to 45 uses out of every full charge.
It comes with a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
You can compress the TravelPack™ Vacuum Bags with any household vacuum cleaner if you don't have your Air Pump on hand.
The pump weighs approximately 3 ounces (85 grams), which makes it very lightweight and easy to handle.
You'll notice when the sucking power starts to diminish. That's an indication that the Air Pump's battery is running low. Best practice is to recharge it after about 10-15 uses to avoid completely draining the battery and to ensure better longevity.
